Daddy/Daughter time at Preschool

Last week K had Father appreciation night at preschool...She was so excited to go...D took her out to dinner first with just the two of them...then went to school where he received a tie that K made..then unknown to me until later, he took her out for ice cream after...she loved spending all that time with her dad by herself...I didn't realize how little time we have with just her alone...she proceed to ask me the next day..."is it mom and me time? Can we go out to eat and then have ice cream?" I don't think she quite understood that this was a one time special thing...oh well...at least she had fun!
